Creating a positive impact within our community

Allen’s Outreach exists to meet real needs in real neighborhoods. Every child deserves to walk into a classroom ready to learn, and every adult deserves a fair shot. That belief is what drives everything we do.

Everyone deserves dignity, opportunity, and leaders within the community to show that they care.

Dignity, opportunity, and people who show they care

Our Story

What began as a local effort is now a mission guided organization delivering hygiene products directly to families and classrooms across Maryland.

We believe access to basic necessities shouldn’t be a privilege. So we built another way to fund our mission that anyone can be apart of — a collection of handmade bracelets and charms where every purchase puts a hygiene kit into a child’s hands.

Emerald Charm
$25.00
Dragonfly
$35.00

Made with real crystal and stone beads in soft greens and earthy tones. Dragonflies are little symbols of change and resilience, which makes this piece quietly meaningful to wear.

Strawberry Cream Coquette Charm
$25.00
Tender Heart
$24.00

Dainty pale glass beads in soft blue and cream, with a smooth white heart resting at the center. Easy to stack or wear on its own.

The Research

Why we do this work

Hygiene products are not a luxury — they are a lifeline. This is the data behind every kit we deliver.

1 in 3
Low-income families can't afford basic hygiene products
0
Cut back on food to afford hygiene items
0
Say hygiene poverty harms their mental health
$0
Federal aid available specifically for hygiene
Education

34% of teachers say students skip class over hygiene issues, and 66% have witnessed hygiene-related bullying.

Employment

Over two-thirds of employers say poor hygiene makes a person unemployable — a barrier one kit can begin to remove.

Health

Handwashing alone cuts diarrheal disease by a third. Basic hygiene access prevents entirely preventable infections.

For many families, staying healthy and being ready for school or work comes down to something as basic as access to soap and clean water.
